Registration has started for the 2019 Virginia Legacy Run.

The Virginia In State Legacy Run (ISLR) will take place 18-20 July and is sponsored by the American Legion Department of Virginia as part of the National Legacy Scholarship Ride. It’s goal is to raise college scholarship money for the sons and daughters of service personnel nationwide either killed or over 50% disabled while on active duty since 9-11. All money raised will be donated in the name of the Department of Virginia to the National Scholarship Ride that takes place in August of each year.

The route will be a two day ride around the state of Virginia visiting numerous American Legion Posts. It will begin in Sandston VA and end up in Spotsylvania for a total of about 475 miles. An overnight stop in planned in Winchester.
