(May 21, 2018) The Senate is due to vote on the VA Mission Act of 2018, after the House of Representatives passed their version last week 340-70. S. 2372, also known as the VA MISSION Act, would expand the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Comprehensive Family Caregiver Program to veterans injured in service before September 11, 2001. This bill would also consolidate and reform VA’s community care programs, as well as provide for the realignment and modernization of VA’s healthcare infrastructure. You can read more about it here.
