First giving honor to God the creator of all, the living and the dead.
Legionnaires in the life of the church there’s a Hymn we often sing; its entitled, “In Times Like These”. After reading 2nd. Timothy 3:1 which says: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come; these words inspired the author to write this song.

Legionnaires I’m sure you will agree, as we go through this Coronavirus it feels like we’re in peril, and God has moved far away. But let me assure you God is still on the throne and it’s up to us to anchor ourselves to him, the solid rock.

As the song says, “In times like these”, You will need a Savior to anchor your life to, and when your anchor is the Lord God, you won’t be so fearful of what could happen to your mortal body, but you’ll have joy in your spirit knowing what God has promised to those that love him.

So, my brothers and my sisters God wants us to always be faithful to his word. Spend time reading it, and hold tight to what the Bible says, because it’s the breath of God. So, live your life to honor him in all you do.

Hebrews 6:19 tells us “we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure”.

My prayer Legion family is for you to stay safe and always keep your hand in Gods hand, and the peace of God that passes all understanding will comfort and anchor your spirit firm to Gods Holy hand.

Just remember God loves you. He’s the only rock that can hold you and won’t let you drift away. If you need prayer, please call your Post or District Chaplain or you can call me at: 434-476-6554
