Passing of Legionnaire Ken Powell

The Department of Virginia sadly announces the passing of Legionnaire Ken Powell of Post 325 in Danville, Virginia.

Ken has been an active member of Post 325 and the Department of Virginia for many years and some his most significant roles have been as a member of the committee to bring the National American Legion Baseball World Series to Danville, VA and as a Director of the Virginia American Legion Youth Cadet Law Enforcement (YCLE) Program that is held annually at the Virginia State Police Academy in Richmond, Virginia. Ken’s last position held was as Director Emeritus of the YCLE Program.
