Just a quick reminder that the changes to the Department Constitution and Bylaws that were approved at the 2015 Department Convention included a requirement for each Post Commander to appoint a three (3) person audit committee of general members of the Post to conduct an annual post finance audit to be completed before June 30th of each year and before new officers take office (Article VII Bonds Section 1 of the Department Constitution).

The report of the audit committee should be made to the membership at a Post meeting and recorded in the post meeting minutes.
