Virginia Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Updates

As of 3/25/2020: Although the academic year for all high schools in Virginia has come to an end, we are still hopeful that our YCLE program can still be salvaged for the 2020 summer. In addition to the support of our high schools and the Virginia American Legion, we also rely on the support of our Virginia State Police. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused havoc with the VSP training schedule, to include the completion of the current trooper academy as well as the beginning of the next. Our primary concern is for the health and safety of all that participate in our program as well as the continued necessity for highly trained Virginia State Troopers. For now, no news is good news and I can only say that as soon as any decision is made, it will be posted here. BE SAFE.
