Completed applications for the 2019 Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Academy are coming into Department Headquarters at a steady rate. Thank you to all posts that have submitted candidates. Remember that we only have 50 cadet slots at the VSP Training Academy so it is important to submit your completed application and $200.00 check as soon as possible. The process is, once the completed application and check is received, a package goes out to the cadet and a letter goes out to the post. It is most important that the cadet signs and returns the Confirmation Notice to the Department of Virginia. This is their promise to attend and only when we have that document in hand, are they considered “Confirmed”. Posts should insure that their cadets get that done as soon as possible.
